AMENDMENT OF TERMS

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at any time. Please check these terms regularly prior to using our website to ensure you are aware of any changes. Where practical, significant changes will be identified on this website. If you choose to use our website then we will regard that use as conclusive evidence of your agreement and acceptance that these terms govern your and Outback Supervision’s rights and obligations to each other.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outback Supervision excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on information contained within it. This includes information provided by third parties or accessed through links to external websites.

It is your responsibility to determine whether the information and services available through this website are appropriate for your individual professional circumstances. You acknowledge that while every effort is made to ensure the information provided is accurate and current, it may contain errors or become outdated over time; we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

While every effort is made to ensure this website remains available and current, Outback Supervision does not guarantee uninterrupted access and accepts no responsibility for temporary interruptions, technical issues or website maintenance.

COMPETITION AND CONSUMER ACT

Our digital products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, modified or restricted under the Australian Consumer Law, and are in addition to any other warranty.

For the purposes of Schedule 2 of the Australian Consumer Law, in particular Sections 51 to 53, 64 and 64A of Part 3-2, Division 1, Subdivision A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Outback Supervision’s liability for any breach of a term of this agreement is limited to: the supplying of the services to you again; or the replacement of the digital product; or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied to you again.

You must be over 18 years of age to use this website and to purchase any services or digital products.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Outback Supervision provides professional clinical supervision services for counsellors and allied health practitioners, delivered online. All information provided on this website is general in nature and is not intended to replace independent professional advice, and should not be relied upon as professional, legal or financial advice.

Outback Supervision is not responsible for any outcomes arising from your use of information obtained through this website. All supervision services are subject to a separate Supervision Consent Agreement, which sets out the specific terms, fees, and conditions of the supervisory relationship. Booking links on this website take you directly to Cliniko, our practice management platform, to schedule your supervision session, and to complete the Supervision Agreement referred to above.

DIGITAL RESOURCES, GUIDES AND TEMPLATES

Outback Supervision may from time to time offer digital products are delivered electronically, generally immediately upon completion of purchase, or as free resources, or by email where a manual step is required on our end. There are inherent risks associated with downloading any digital file, and if you experience a technical problem accessing or downloading a digital product, please contact us so we can assist you.

Digital resources, guides and templates are intended as general professional resources and information. They are not a substitute for individual clinical supervision, and do not constitute professional, legal or financial advice.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND COMPLAINTS

Outback Supervision practises in accordance with the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland), which sets minimum standards for health care workers who are not registered under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law. A copy of the Code is available in the footer of this website. If you have a concern about the supervision service you have received, you can contact the Office of the Health Ombudsman on 133 646 (Monday to Friday, 9.30am-4.00pm), or lodge a complaint online at oho.qld.gov.au/make-a-complaint.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

For supervision services, refund requests are considered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and Outback Supervision's Cancellation Policy, set out in the Supervision Agreement. Where a client requests a refund outside the terms of the Cancellation Policy, each request will be considered on its individual circumstances. If a refund is approved, it will be processed promptly using the original payment method.

For digital resources, guides and templates, due to the nature of digital goods, we are generally unable to offer a refund once a product has been downloaded or access has been granted, simply for a change of mind. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and a refund, replacement or other remedy will be provided where a digital product is faulty, not fit for its intended purpose, or does not match its description.

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed promptly using the original payment method.

Outback Supervision may from time to time provide on its website links to other websites, advertisements and information on those websites for your convenience. This does not necessarily imply sponsorship, endorsement, or approval or arrangement between Outback Supervision and the owners of those websites. Outback Supervision takes no responsibility for any of the content found on the linked websites.

Our website may contain information or advertisements provided by third parties, for which Outback Supervision accepts no responsibility whatsoever.
